Two of our Warriors SA bands, MOSS and Strange Brew Band are each about to release their own CDs of original music.
Could this be a Weekend Warriors first?
The bands will be jointly launching their new CDs and performing them live on stage at The Gov in Adelaide on 7 August from 1pm.
Both bands grew out of the Weekend Warriors Program and developed through the Warriors SA Club. Band members are all members of Warriors SA and both bands perform at Club events as well as at their own independent gigs.
Congratulations to all involved.
MOSS grew out of the Weekend Warriors music program and Warriors SA recreational music club. They are regular performers at Warriors SA events as well as being in demand for independent gigs.
MOSS‘s line-up of Warrior members Suzie Craig, Rob Brooking, Clive Pollard, David White and Mark Simpkin talk about their experiences of playing live music in a band as mature musicians.
We look forward to seeing MOSS at many more Warriors SA and other shows and wish them every success with their CD.

This is a great opportunity to re-live your Weekend Warrior experience at no cost to you.
Associate members may also apply.

A great day was had by all who went along to Glandore Community Centre yesterday for a great afternoon with Adelaide Radio Station 88.7 Coast FM’s Australia Day Family Picnic and Concert featuring six Warriors SA bands and the City of Marion’s Citizenship Ceremony.
After an acoustic set by Warriors SA acoustic ensemble Unwound, the Mayor of the City of Marion conducted a citizenship ceremony for a group of our new citizens. Then the audience settled down for an afternoon of music provided by Warriors SA bands Racket Science, Crossfire, Moss and Banned for the Nite.
Check out the SA Warriors Facebook page for 100+ photos of the event.
