New band forming
Currently have: Drums, Bass, Guitar
Looking to add Keyboards or Guitar, some vocal ability being a desired attribute.
Classic rock covers with various other style's and incorporating original material.
We are enthusiastic and committed part-timers rehearsing weekly.
We are not looking to play every week, however, we are intending to do a few things during the year as we take our music seriously - and do it with a smile.
We enjoy a laughand have a friendly environment.
We hope to hear from you soon.

This Sunday, 18th February 2018 11.45 to 2.30 Club Cool will be on at The Gov with Weekend Warrior bands Racket Science and Off the Rails performing. This is a family friendly event open for all to attend and all proceeds from the gold coin donation go back to Club Cool so they can continue their wonderful work for young adults with disabilities

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Weekend Warriors Music Club (SA) Inc (Warriors SA) will be held on Saturday 25 November 2017 at The Gov, 59 Port Road, Hindmarsh SA 5007 at 11.00am, followed by the Club’s Christmas Party at 1.00 pm.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE POSITIONS
At the AGM, all Committee positions become vacant and elections are held to fill them for the coming year.
Therefore nominations are now called for the following positions:
PRESIDENT (1)
VICE PRESIDENT (1)
SECRETARY (1)
TREASURER (1)
COMMITTEE MEMBERS (6)
Only Full Members of the Association may make a nomination and only Full Members may be elected to the Committee. Members may nominate themselves.
Nominations must be received by no later than 5 pm on Monday 20 November 2017

Nominations closed at 5 pm on Monday 20 November. At the close of nominations the number of eligible nominations received for each position was equal to or less than the number of vacancies, therefore no ballots are required at the AGM. The results are as follows:

The Club’s Christmas Show kicks off at 1.00 pm in the Front Bar of the Gov,
following the AGM.
12.00 noon to 1.00 pm setup
1.00 to 5.00 Bands and Ensembles
A call for Registrations for bands and ensembles was sent separately.
Please note: we ask that as far as possible only Warriors SA’s gear be used for the backline.
